What an upgrade changes
An upgrade improves a mine rather than adding a new mine. That means the value of an upgrade depends heavily on how much that mine already earns. A larger percentage increase on a stronger mine usually adds more USD than the same percentage on a weak mine.
Compare before spending TB
Before upgrading, compare the extra USD the upgrade could produce against the TB cost. The calculator uses the current values you enter, so it still works if TerraMine changes rates or upgrade prices.
Rare mines can matter more
If two mines receive the same percentage increase, the mine with the higher base earnings gains more in absolute USD. Always use the exact earning and upgrade figures shown in your own account.
